Triumphant Lutheran Church
Servant Outreach
HELPING OUR COMMUNITY
We grow in Christ to serve others by feeding needy children, collecting school supplies, visiting residents in rehabilitation centers, helping new mothers, putting together Thanksgiving Food Baskets, organizing the Angel Tree at Christmas, supporting RACAP (Randolph Area Christian Assistance Program), and more! Come help us help others!
Lenten Giving
SHARING WHAT GOD HAS GIVEN US
The season of Lent gives us a great opportunity to show our love for others. One way we can do this is by helping others meet some of their most basic needs. Many of the most needed items for both children and adults at local organizations are undergarments: underwear, diapers, and more. During the weeks of Lent, we collected NEW items each week to benefit Haven for Hope, Child Protective Services (CPS), and Randolph Area Christian Assistance Program (RACAP). The items collected included sports bras, women’s underwear, feminine products, men’s boxers and undershirts, diapers, and children’s underwear. Thank you for your generosity!
Angel Tree Program
SPREADING CHRISTMAS CHEER
For Christmas 2021, our Angel Tree benefited two great organizations, TruLight127 and ELCA Good Gifts. This was a wonderful opportunity to spread Christmas cheer in the local community and throughout the world!

We provided gifts of toys and pajamas for the foster children at TruLight127.
We also provided monetary donations to purchase farm animals, provide vaccinations, and supply many other needed items through the ELCA Good Gifts program.
Thanksgiving Food Boxes
SHARING A JOYFUL 2021 THANKSGIVING
We assembled 75 boxes on November 14. Thank you to all who donated food, money, or time to assembling the baskets. These baskets will go to needy families to help them have a wonderful meal this Thanksgiving.

God's Work. Our Hands.
EACH SEPTEMBER
Each September, ELCA churches all over the country pitch in together to help their local communities. Lutherans show God's love
by being His hands.
Food Bank Service Projects
TEACHING SOMEONE TO FISH
In May and June of 2021, Triumphant helped feed the community. The San Antonio Urban Farm is the largest urban agriculture initiative within the city of San Antonio with a unique mission: to grow food while also teaching others the skills they need to grow food at home. Founded in 2010 by the San Antonio Food Bank, the New Braunfels Food Bank is an expansion of the effort to more fully serve the community. The focus is for clients to have food for today but to also have the resources to be self-sufficient in the future.
Service Ideas on Facebook
CONTINUING TO HELP OTHERS
Due to the pandemic lockdown of 2020 and the need to physically distance from each other, we had to find different and unique ways to continue helping others. For three months, we posted easy-yet-helpful service ideas to our Facebook page.
Spreading Positivity on Facebook
SHARE A SMILE
To follow up our "Service Ideas on Facebook" project, we shared ideas for posting positive photos to Facebook. We hope you found the ideas and the photos posted by others to be uplifting and encouraging during this unusually challenging year, 2020.
Randolph Area
Christian Assistance Program
MAKING A DIFFERENCE
The Randolph Area Christian Assistance Program (RACAP) is a Christian Ministry that was established by church and civic leaders to serve the unmet needs of the community. Founded in May of 1983, RACAP continues this ministry today, accepting food and financial donations from member churches, individuals, and local organizations.
Triumphant Lutheran supports RACAP throughout the year with Thanksgiving Food Baskets, Food Drives, and Second Sunday Donations.
