TLC's Confirmation
Our Children and Youth Ministries create a place where youth and children are known, are loved, and can grow.

The purpose of the Confirmation program is to give youth the opportunity to learn the foundations and traditions of the Lutheran faith. The Confirmation program is a two-year program where youth are taught about the Lutheran Confessions, Scripture, the Creeds, and other Christian practices. At the end of their Confirmation years, they complete a Credo Project and present it to Pastor Aaron and other adults. Youth are “Confirmed” in the Fall of their 9th-grade year, on Reformation Sunday.

During the middle school years, youth are encouraged to explore their own gifts and to identify as children of God. They are asked to participate in the life of the church during worship, in ministry teams of the church, and through service opportunities. The main programming for Confirmation students is the Confirmation curriculum. They meet during Wednesday Nite Live, when they have a weekly lesson and small groups.

Other activities for the Confirmation students include the Middle School Gathering retreat, day trips, Summer Camp, and more.

Here at Triumphant Lutheran Church, your child's safety is important to us! All of our volunteers are trained through Reducing the Risk, a child sexual abuse awareness and prevention training program designed for church staff, volunteers, and leadership. Volunteers also must have background checks completed, go through volunteer training with a staff member, and sign documents stating they understand Triumphant Lutheran's policies on working with children and youth.
