'Faithful Grief' Bible Study
Sundays, July 10, 17, 24, and 31
10:15am in the Library and on Zoom
Grief is one of those things we have all experienced, whether it is the loss of someone we love, the end or changing of relationships, starting a new job, loss of function, memory, or ability, and on and on. Over the last two years, with the COVID-19 pandemic, grief and loss have been even more prevalent and visible. How does our faith inform us in those kinds of circumstances? And where can we find God in the midst of these things?
Pastor Aaron will lead a time of study and reflection that will give us some space to think about our own experiences of grieving, and how that can help us to serve others. To guide our conversation, we will use 4 videos from Sanctuary Mental Health, a Christian mental health ministry. These classes will be held at 10:15am on Sunday mornings in the library both in-person and on Zoom. There is also a journal to help you in between classes that will be available at the in-person sessions, or can be downloaded here.
