Preschool

Triumphant Lutheran Preschool is a State Licensed School serving the Schertz, Garden Ridge, Cibolo, Universal City, and northeast San Antonio area.  It is our desire to provide a safe and exciting educational environment for your child in which to learn and interact. We strive to prepare your child for kindergarten by working with the alphabet, numbers, colors and shapes. We also try to enhance their learning experience by teaching through specific themes each month. Your participation in your child’s education is encouraged and we invite you to join us for special family occasions like Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, our Thanksgiving Program and Feast and, of course, our Graduation Ceremony.

2013-2014 Registration

Registration for current students and siblings begins March 1, 2013 at 9:00am - 12:00pm in the Fellowship Hall.  A non-refundable registration fee of $75 is due when you register.  If you are registering a new student, you can download registration forms below or pick up a packet in the Preschool office after February 27, 2013 between the hours of 9:30am - 1:30pm.  

Open registration for new students begins March 4, 2013 at 9:30am - 12:00pm.  You can download registration forms below or pick them up in the Preschool office after February 27, 2013 between the hours of 9:30am - 1:30pm.   A non-refundable registration fee of $75 is due when you register.  All enrollment information must be completed in its entirety prior to the first day of school.  Paperwork includes:

Staff

    

Kristin Miller: TLC Preschool Director.  She holds a B.S. in Physical Education and Elementary Education from Western Michigan University. She began her teaching career in San Antonio before joining the staff at our preschool. She has been Preschool Director since 2006.  She and her husband have 2 daughters.

Susan Soeth: Teaches the 4-year-old classes. She earned her CDA (Child Development Associate) while she and her husband were stationed in Hawaii with the Army. She then worked for a Phoenix-area Lutheran preschool for 2 ½ years before moving to the San Antonio area. She has been teaching preschool children since 1997. She and her husband have a son and a daughter.

Laurie Gordon: Teaches Triumphant Lutheran's 3-year-old Little Fish class.  She began as our classroom aide in 2006 and then obtained her CDA (Child Development Associate) so she could have her own classroom.  She and her husband have three children.

Marcee Krkosa:   Teaches a Pre-K class. She has a Master's Degree in Education from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Great Falls, as well as Montessori certification for ages 6 to 9. She has taught preschool through third grade, and this is her10th year of teaching. She is also a military spouse and is the mother of three daughters and one son.

Jalene Leatherman:  Teaches a Pre-K class.  She has a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from UTSA.  She also obtained a teaching certificate in Early Childhood through 4th grade from UTSA in 2006.  She has taught 1st grade and preschool.  She and her husband have one son.

Shani Call:  Teaches a 3-year-old class and a young-3s class.  She began as a teaching assistant in 2007.  She is finishing her CDA (Child Development Associate) this fall.  She and her husband have five children.
